Laura Boulton on Wedding Wisdom Podcast w/ Doug Winters.Listen Now

Hi Laura,
WOW!! What a weekend!! I'm just trying to unwind today from all the excitement of the weekend. The rehearsal dinner was smash success, just fantastic!! I couldn't believe the transformation of the Club when Gavin and I walked in on Friday evening during final preparations. It was truly amazing, from the beautiful amber lighting to the stunning table settings! Loved the small tables which were perfect for conversation! Food was great, Caroline was fantastic, staff wonderful. Could not
have asked for a more perfect event.

A big hanks to you, your expertise, and knowledge of and attention to the tiniest details that made the event true special! And a big thanks to Caroline for running the event seamlessly!

Dear Laura,
There are not enough thank-yous in the work to express the appreciation for all you did to make Ashley and Will’s wedding weekend the most memorable and magical time ever!!
From the first meeting we had to the last good-bye at the Delamar brunch, your professionalism and passion for what you do has always shined through. As I have mentioned before - all the vendors you had assisting you really did create an A-Team of players to make the weekend roll as smoothly as it did. Dave and I were truly able to enjoy the entire weekend and soak in the life changing festivities.

Once again, a big thank-you for all you did. I am sure I will see you around town.

All the Best,
Lynette

Dear Laura,
Thank you, thank you, thank you!  You made our wedding weekend so perfect and amazing, we could not have done it without you!  ...I can't imagine having gone through this process with anyone else.  thank you for being so on top of everything; you are truly the best and I will miss our daily emails!

Always,
Clair

Laura,
Thank you for being such an integral part of our wedding. Obviously your planning skills are top notch.  But it is your kindness, love and support that has been invaluable.  We are so grateful for all you've done.

Yours always,
Kirsty & Ben

I cannot say enough good things about Laura. She went above and beyond the call of duty on so many occasions during the entire planning process.

We were married in Southport, Congregational Church  and  we had our reception at Roton Point  Club in Rowayton. Roton Point is a private beach club with limited catering facilities, and Laura coordinated transportation, catering, setup and seating arrangements,  bar, rentals, music, cake, photographer, photobooth,  flowers, bathrooms, and more. Laura and I  met in advance to pick out party rentals, invitations, cake, and caterer, and we met several times at the club to plan set up and to choreograph the evening .

In the months of planning leading up to the event, Laura was organized and punctual, keeping us on target  and helping us to make as efficient and reasonable decisions as possible.

In the preceding days, when everything was starting to feel imminent, Laura was calm and upbeat, as excited to see things unfold as we were.

In retrospect, it was a colossal undertaking, much more involved and intensive than a catering hall or restaurant. Thanks to Laura, the results were exactly what we wanted and our memories of the entire process are fond and joyful. She was professional, personable and calm, cool and collected  the entire time. She exceeded my expectations on every front and I would not hesitate to hire her for any event..

Greetings.
Hope you're getting some rest this week!

I  wanted to say thank you on behalf of the rest of the band - it was absolutely wonderful to work with you on Ashley and Will's big day!

I am so appreciative of people we work with are detail oriented (I mean the "important" details, haha! as well as the "other" details...)

And we definitely appreciate the instagram love as well.  I hope we get to work together again sometime!!  I haven't traveled with the band in a while but would love† to make an exception for another Connecticut celebration (I have family up there too!).

Thank you for everything!
Hester

Dear Laura,
Thank yow for the incredible attention to all the details prior to and during Molly & Scotty's wedding. It all went off without a hitch!

Molly truly appreciated the direction and guidance you provided. I know we could not have enjoyed the rehearsal, day of, and the reception as much as we did without your professionalism. What a gift!

You have a natural ability to put people at ease while managing potentially stressful and challenging events. We are grateful for you help.

All the best,
Amy, John, Molly & Scotty

Laura,

Dear Laura,
Where to begin?!  Thank you so much for everything you did with th rehearsal dinner and wedding.  The rehearsal dinner was beyond perfect - everything I could have dreamed of and then some,  You captured my dream and turned it into a reality!  Than you also for everything you did with the wedding  It went off without a hitch and I felt very luck to work with you.

Best,
Sarah (& Kevin)

It was a fairy tale wedding and we will always be thankful to Laura for helping us bring it all together.

My daughter Christie became engaged and decided she wanted to get married in her Aunt’s home in Westport, CT.  As a child, this was a favorite place to visit, and she had many fond memories there.  She always fantasized of getting married in Wesptort.

However…..we live in Dallas.  AND… she wanted to get married in June.  Just 6 months away.  Planning a wedding long distance, not to mention in a home, required an incredible amount of organization.  We flew to CT in January and met a few wedding planners/event coordinators. And we were very fortunate to choose Laura Boulton.  She was professional, yet friendly, resourceful, and always accessible (especially long distance!) and a dream to work with.

Because it was an outdoor wedding, everything had to be rented—tables, chairs, linens, tents, portable toilets, catering, dance floor, DJ, etc.  It was a large property, and deciding where to have the ceremony and reception was a huge and ever-changing decision as well.   (Part of this due to a bride who wasn’t fully engaged in the planning process… she just wanted a “simple” wedding! )

Laura was so instrumental in making everything come together.  To top off the challenges, the weather, while it was beautiful the week prior to the wedding, threatened rain the day of the wedding.  The rain held out until after the ceremony and we even had a golf cart to take guests from the ceremony down to the reception tent.   Along with taking care of all the preplanning, she was an ideal “day of the wedding” coordinator.   Laura also managed to plan a lobster bake on the beach on Friday night for all of the out of town guests not attending the rehearsal dinner!
